Anticlastic forming is a specialized metalworking technique that involves shaping metal into two opposing curves, creating a striking visual effect. In this class you will texture metal using the rolling mill and texturing hammers then use a special jig for the hydraulic press to form the anticlastic bracelets.

How Do Class Hours Work?

All Tucson Jewelry School classes are structured in 3-hour segments.

Each 3-hour class uses 3 of your membership hours.

This makes it easy to plan your schedule and decide how many classes you’d like to take.

What About Full-Day Classes?

Full-day classes are divided into two 3-hour segments, typically labeled Part 1 and Part 2.

If you register for both parts, you will use 6 membership hours total.

How Do 6-Week Classes Work?

6-week classes meet once per week for 3 hours at the same scheduled day and time.

Each weekly session uses 3 membership hours.

If you attend all six sessions, you will need 18 membership hours total.

Do I Need To Purchase A Kit?

Kits will be available for purchase for most classes.

You are also welcome to bring your own supplies unless otherwise noted in the class description.

If a class requires specific materials, details will be provided in advance so you can plan accordingly.
