Beginning Enameling with Steven James
A wire jewelry artist’s pride is her collection of finished pieces--but selling her wire jewelry requires a whole new set of tools! Some useful jewelry display accessories we’ve found are u-pins, for displaying necklaces, pendants, and anything else that can hang; steel hooks, which can organize and display bracelets and necklaces, as well as jewelry sizing rings, extra coils, and even hanging displays from a canopy or booth!

Another great tool to have on hand is a rock identification chart. You can set this out on your display table to allow customers to match your finished jewelry with the raw materials you crafted it from--you could even sell this handy gemstone identification chart! It’s also a great tool to have on hand if a customer brings you a gemstone to make a custom design with, but she’s not sure exactly what gem it is. A rock identification chart with pictures is an invaluable tool to have at shows!
