Instructions
Step 1
Cut (4) 3" pieces of 18 gauge round half-hard wire. (Figure A)
Step 2
Cut and shape your (4) 5mm jump rings. Set aside.
Step 3
Using a ring mandrel (or an empty lipstick container) shape 3" wire to match so that the wire is open at the top with rounded sides. (Figure B)
Step 4
Shape into small points on top & bottom like a lemon or almond. (Figure C)
Step 5
Pressing fingers on opposite sides of lemon-shaped wire, make into fish shape with 1/2" on each side like a tail of a fish. (Figure D)
Step 6
With needle nose pliers in junction of "tail", bend front portion of wire 1/2" from
end back toward the side it came from. Do this to both "tails."
Pro Tip: Position bail making pliers in top of bend to keep rounded form. Continue to bend until wire end meets side. (Figure E shows one done.
The end point should end up being about 1/2 the way to the bottom. (Figure F)
Step 7
Using chain nose pliers, shape right & left sides of pretzel ends so that they don't stick out of "pretzel."
Step 8
Make other 3 "pretzels.

Step 9
Place the "pretzels" as shown in Figure G below.

Step 10
Add the jump rings to the "pretzels" as shown in Figure H below

Step 11
Cut the 2" piece of 26 gauge wire in half making (2) 1" pieces. Place the 1" pieces of wire through each of the brioletes.

Step 12
Make sure the wire with the briolette is aligned with the bottom of the "Pretzel". Do 5 wraps on each side. The wire should end up being a smooth coil. Trim any remaining gauge 26 wire closely.

Step 13
Add ear wires & you're done!

Step 14
