Using the 3/16" rings place 4 closed rings on an open ring and close the ring. Add another ring in the same place as the single ring. Wrap some scrap wire around these 2 rings.

Using another piece of wire, isolate the 2 middle rings from the 4 rings by pulling them slightly away from the group of rings. The 2 outside rings remain inside the original 2 rings from step 1. With an open ring go through both of the outside rings where they sit inside the original rings, then take the ring through the 2 middle rings where they sit outside of the original rings, and close the ring.

Turn the piece completely over and add a ring as in step 2 on the other side, going through the outside rings where they sit within the rings and then going through the middle rings where they sit outside of the rings, and close the ring.

Part the 2 middle rings and add 2 rings in this space, making sure that the new rings go around both of the rings between the parted rings.

The pattern is now back to step 2. This time you don't need to separate the middle rings because the rings are being held in place now that the chain has started to take shape. With an open ring go through the 2 outside rings where they sit inside the other rings and then go through the 2 middle rings where they sit in front of the chain, and close the ring. Turn the chain completely over and add another ring in the same way as before to this new side.

For each crystal, place it on a headpin and make a simple loop close to the crystal and trim the excess wire.

Attach the crystals with the simple loop to the 5/32" ring in the order of, crystal AB cube then jonquil bicone, light rose cube, golden shadow round, padparadscha bicone, jonquil bicone and crystal AB cube. Part the end rings on the chain as before in step 4 and attach the 5/32" ring in this space making sure to attach to both of the rings that are in the space between the parted rings.

To make the ear wire, cut the wire in half, make a simple loop in one end of the wire piece, the loop needs to be big enough to attach to 2 of the 3/16" rings, add 3 vitrail 3mm crystals to the wire and push them right down to the loop. Make a 90 degree bend in the wire above the crystals. Using a sharpie marker or mandrel shape the wire around to the style that you want. Slightly upturn the end. The ear wire can be hammered with a mallet to work harden it or tumbled.

To attach the ear wire unwrap the original piece of wire from the 2 rings and part these 2 rings as in step 4. Attach the ear wire in this space making sure to attach it to both of the rings in the space between the parted rings.
