Instructions
Step 1
Measure stone and add 4 inches.
Pro Tip: How to splice your wire. Make sure your splice is on the inside, and by that I mean, not facing outward in the edge of cuff where it will catch and unravel. Do not cut the first wire yet, leave it facing up. With your next 2 foot piece of wire, you want to be sure you are going in the same direction. Do not cut either end just yet. Wait until you have wrapped the next circle on the Infinity first. This insures no accidental movement of wire. Then trim and fold over bar getting them to butt up against each other on the bar

Step 2
Cut round sterling silver wire to measured size. (For the stone I am using a teardrop shaped druzy, 40mm x 28mm. It measures 4 1/4 inches around, so I will cut 7 inches on each piece). Since the stone has a 2-3mm lip on the edge, I will cut 6 pieces total. 2 for the front, 2 for the side and 2 for the back. Cut as many as you need for edge of stone if the lip onthe stone you are using is wider.
Step 3
Cut the 1 inch pieces for infinity symbols from the 20 gauge wire (1 inch piece once made into infinity symbol measure 1/2 inch) You need to leave space in between infinity symbols. The Druzy stone I am working with will require 14 infinity symbols, so I cut 12, 1 inch pieces.

Step 4
File the ends of the 1 inch pieces flat to remove any points or burrs.
Step 5
With the round nosed pliers pick up the first 1 inch filed piece of 20 gauge round wire and place the very end in the center of the jaws and turn inward until the end touches the inside piece of wire. Now turn the piece around and turn the other end in opposite direction. Turn it with the round nosed pliers to form the infinity symbol. Repeat on all 1 inch pieces.

Step 9
Cut a 4 foot section of 22 gauge half round wire and fold in half, right sides out. The right side is
beveled and the wrong side is flat and shiny.
Pro Tip: Only use the Nylon jawed pliers to pull sterling silver half round wire through out the pattern and the chain nose pliers to flatten the wires or to slide around the half round wire to tighten. If pulling half round with chain nosed pliers it will make weak places and break the wire.
Step 10
From center mark wrap equally for 9 wraps total with the 22 gauge half round wire. After the 9 wraps, there should be 1 going up and 1 going down. Now start on 1 side and pick up the first infinity symbol and wrap the infinity to the 2, 20 gauge wire, and as you go down pick up 2nd infinity and wrap the 2nd infinity so the 2 are perfectly lined up. The outside will have 1 wrap around both infinity symbols along with the 2, 20 gauge wires. Now wrap them two more times, for a total of 3 times. Wrap the 20 gauge wires 6 times and from behind, wrap throgh the infinity curl and over the 20 gauge wires and through the curl on the second infinity. Now flip piece and repeat on other side. Wrap 9 times on each side in between the next 2 infinity symbols. Repeat the wrapping of the next infinity's on each side with 9 wraps between. After wrapping the last set of infinity's wrap 9 times and stop for now.

Step 11
Mark the remaining 2, 20 gauge round wire in the center.
Step 12
Now cut a 3 foot section of 22 gauge half round wire and fold together as in Step 9.
Step 13
Fold inward to flatten the back side infinity's, so they can be wrapped to hold the stone in place from behind.

Step 14
Starting at the mark in the center, place a piece of the folded 22 gauge half round wire and wrap 5 times. Now using a mandrel make a curve in the area just enough to get started wrapping the infinity's to the 20 gauge round wire with the 22 gauge half round. You will need to adjust as you go, how many times you wrap around the 20 gauge round wire in between the infinity's to to keep the back flat. Still using 6 from circle to circle in the infinity. Works 4 of the 6 infinity's and then stop for now.
Step 15
Cut another 3 foot section of 22 gauge half round and fold as before with the flat sides inward.
Step 16
Now working on the front, use Step 14 to the same point.

Step 17
Now finish wrapping the 2, 20 gauge round wires with the 22 gauge half round, front and back just 1 wrap from the top of the stone. Cut the 22 gauge half round so that it is on the inside hidden and use chain nose pliers to flatten gently.

Step 19
Working the backside of the pendent wrap the 20 gauge wire with the 22 gauge half round wire and the last infinity. Keeping the wire flat against the stone, wrap the remaining 20 gauge round wire until it meets the natural cross the 20 gauge wires make. Cut the 22 gauge wire and using the chain nosed pliers to make the last wrapped end and make it bury on the inside up against the stone.

Step 20
Working the other side of the back 20 just like step 18, but this time don't cut the 22 gauge half round wire. Where the 2, 20 gauge round wires come together bend them straight up, using the 22 gauge half round from the last side and after bending them up and wrap the 2, 20 gauge round wires together and stop 1 wrap from the top. Cut the wire long enough to be buried on the inside up against the stone and use the chain nosed pliers to slightly crimp the 22 gauge half round wire so it lays flat against the inside.

Step 21
Now working the front, repeat step 19. Remove tape, and re-tape after separating each side into flat
bundles of 4.
Step 22
With a 5 in piece of the 22 gauge half round wire make a small hooked end with the chain nosed pliers.
Step 23
Place hooked 22 gauge wire in the middle of the 8, 20 gauge wires from the back. Now push the 2 bundles of 4 together and wrap all 3 times with the end of the 22 gauge ending in the back. Stop but do not cut the 22 gauge half round wire yet. Remove tape.

Step 24
Separate the 2 bundles except the front 2, 20 gauge wires. Now it is time to make the bail, about 1/2 inch up with chain nosed pliers bend straight back the 2 front 20 gauge round wires, then at a 1/4 inch back from the first bend place chain nosed pliers and bend straight down now the bail is formed.

Step 25
Now with the un-cut piece of 22 gauge half round wire, wrap around the entire bundle of wires 3 times, still do not cut wire. Bring the 22 gauge wire around to the front and wrap just the 2, 20 gauge wires of the bail, continue until you reach the back of the bail where it meets, wrapping around the base of the wrapped bundle of 8 then cut 22 gauge half round wire at the very back to 3/8th of an inch using chain nose pliers to do this then crimp gently and push the end of the 22 gauge half round end into the center of the bale.

Step 26
To finish the back of the bail there will be 2, 20 gauge wires on the back that need to be pulled
straight out and trimmed with flush cutter to the length of 1/8th of an inch. File ends of 2, 20 gauge round wire flat and bend straight up to finish the bail.

Step 27
