Simple, striking hammered hoops make a serious style statement. No need for soldering, the circles connect with a jump ring. Make these larger or smaller, add beads, wire wraps, or chains. Aluminum wire makes these light and easy to wear, but these would be equally as delightful in brass, copper, or sterling wire.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 3” lengths of aluminum wire to the flush.

Step 2
Wrap the wires around a 1.5” dowel, or anything you're using as a round mandrel, slightly overlapping the ends.

Step 3
Place the wires on bench block and hammer flat. Make sure you keep the circle shape.

Step 4
Add texture with the round end of your chasing hammer.

Step 5
With the hole punch pliers, punch a hole in both wire ends making sure the holes line up.

Step 6
Thread the 5mm jump ring through both holes. Close the jump ring. Attach smaller jump ring to first jump ring.

Step 7
Attach an earring wire to smaller jump ring. Repeat for second earring.
