Sue X. the only reason I gave one less star for the time rec'd is b/c when i order something from Ms. Armstrong, I would like to have it in my hand the minute I press - pay..... That was the only reason - there isn't a fast enough time to receive this! I teach my son this stuff and it takes me a 6:1 ratio vs when Dale is teaching via visual video... he has autism and mental retardation (and understands visual over verbal)... she is perfection and he knows and understands her visuals.... it takes me six times as long to teach him something "SIMPLE" THE free videos have been taught to him via him set up with the computer in front of his little work area and the needed items already obtained with labels on them (that she refers to them)... I prewatch the video and preteach the nouns he needs to learn and the verbs ... language to him is much like Charlie Browns teacher "waaa waa waa waaaaaa wa" He cannot process it; her voice is soothing and relaxes him has he learns.. I would love for him to take one of her classes - so if she ever comes to Philadelphia, I might try to contact her and ask her if he could sit in the back somewhere.... even if he goes to just say "hi".... It would be our honor!!!!! Thank you! I am saving for her entire series along with an ipad (so he can communicate to others in words that are prerecorded!!!!! He is 17, and I have set him up an online etsy shop, a facebook page, a logo and that is how far my computer skills will allow me to take him.... however if you want more of his story, he is at dannylions.etsy.com. Not many items in the etsy shop (you will know the ones he made - some are donated... but it is my goal for him to be as financially independent as possible in lieu of relying on the Mental Health/Mental Retardation systems in PA..... ugh - sorry - had to tell you why it is so important for me to want to have these video's in my hand when I press "pay".... long story short - I adore her....
