Who doesn't love turquoise and sterling silver together? This pendant was created using a 22 x 28 mm rectangular, turquoise cabochon and 22g square, sterling silver, half hard wire. A frame was first created for the stone. Angular shapes were used on the front locking wires to create interest and to draw more attention the stone. The bail uses four wires instead of the usual two wires. The rosettes were placed to create a flowing movement, such as falling water. The contrast of art elements brings interest and excitement to a work, and this pendant is no exception. Contrasting the curved wires with the angular shapes of the stone and locking wires has created visual excitement and interest.
